Low Stress Weaning! 😁

This is how we wean calves at J Bar T Livestock! We use EasyWean nose flaps.

The nose flap prevents the calf from nursing. It does not interfere with grazing. No bawling, no stress. Steer and Bull calves wear the flaps for about a week, then we move them to the steer pasture.

Heifer calves wear the flaps for 4 to 6 weeks and we don't separate them from the herd at all. This method works really well for us.
